That's right! My professional portfolio is being moved to another account, which can be found here: https://www.deviantart.com/mikezillaart
I've come to realize that this account is nearly 10 years old, and has 10 years of my history as an artist, but also has 10 years of me growing as a person. In lieu of deleting or covering up some of the things I've said in the past, I figure Id just post a little notice here. I'm not the same person I was in 2016. To anyone who may come across my page in the future, or comes across one of my comments from that time, I have since rescinded my past Republican values, many of which came from a place of ignorance. I've become a strong believer in progressive values and socialist economic policies, and am no longer the dumbass bootlicker I used to be. Just an fyi.
(Potential spoilers for Godzilla KOTM ahead) So I had a dream that, with some modifications, could potentially be a great plot thread for future Godzilla movies. It starts showing the post apocalyptic destruction following KoTM. Then it cuts to ten years later, this time a remote jungle, with some military outpost covered in thick greenery. Two guards outside. Suddenly, a cloaked figure appears, covered in a disguise of plant material. The figure easily dispatches the guards and breaks inside. Cuts to them slowly but surely wiping out more guards silently and taking weapons. Cuts to a big room. Charles Dance's character is there, overlooking some experiments with Godzilla cells, possibly in an attempt to revive/experiment with the severed Ghidorah head. Some big device is holding them in a fluid filled tank while running the experiments. Suddenly, the cloaked character bursts in, gunning down more guards, while Charles Dance jumps for cover. The cloaked figure makes their way over to him, grabbing him by the neck and pulling back the plant hood to reveal Millie Bobby Brown's character, grown up. She prepares to kill him, as she's been hunting down the scientists her mom was working with for years. Suddenly, a guard, bleeding and limping, manages to get the drop on her, tackling her and launching her into the G cell tank. Charles Dance's character screams out in horror as Millie Bobby Brown is enfused with the G cells, leading to the creation of......drum roll please...... BIOLLANTE! So that is my dream, me adding a little more details after the fact. If someone who is a good writer could work with this idea, I feel it might make a good movie.
Imma just copy paste a rant I made on discord that nobody cared about lel: So this movie (Godzilla: King of the Monsters) sorta under-performed at the box office. Not a flop by any means what so ever, definitely a success. But it made $200 less than Godzilla 2014 and Kong: Skull Island. I dont wont to be too worried just yet. Godzilla vs Kong next year is definitely going to succeed based on star appeal alone. But Im afraid of the future of the MonsterVerse following that film. I want to see a cinematic universe as big as Marvel. Its only fair, considering Godzilla practically invented the cinematic universe back in the 60s. But the nerve of people to call this a "Fading Franchise". HELL NO. Godzilla is bigger in the States now than ever before, and like wise in Japan, with a series of movies getting planned for their own cinematic universe as well as the literal nightmare fuel that was Shin Godzilla. Godzilla figures are being released at record pace, Godzilla has officially became a meme for the first time ever. Im just blown away that anyone would call this a fading franchise. Endgame was still in theaters when KOTM first hit, same with Detective Pikachu and Aladdin, and Toy Story 4 came just after. Thats my guess why it under-performed. It was a timing issue. (Note: I didnt do research, this is simply my guess)
Im honestly angered by the fact that people say this movie was killed by bad human characters. Why? JURASSIC WORLD: FALLEN KINGDOM Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom was probably the biggest let down of all time, and the single worst movie Ive seen in years. Not only was it exceptionally stupid and tone deaf, but god damn, those human characters were SOOO BAD. Particularly the feminist lady, who made me want to claw my eyes out, the nerdy kid, who was just so frustrating, and the villain who was so damn obvious from the second you saw him. And unlike Godzilla, JWFK had awfull action. Stupid ass scenes of dinosaurs doing stupid things that made no sense. How did Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom make over a billion when Godzilla KOTM faltered? Who the fuck knows, cause its sure as hell isnt a better movie.
Not to mention the fact that the Indoraptor is a smaller, less scary version of the Indominus Rex
